Hayley & Allen’s sophisticated wedding

Local couple Hayley and Allen were referred to me by a another of their wedding suppliers. They were already well and truly knee deep in planning their own wedding, but had hit a few hic ups and needed some support both in the planning and on the day.

I met with them at their Queenstown home for their consultation and they were quickly at ease with the assurances and advise I gave them. They soon changed florist to one whom I recommended and also saved money in the process. Then they booked the transport company I frequently work with, which also came in at a lot less than all 3 of the quotes she had sourced previously on her own. In her own words, ‘I was paying for myself in savings I helped organise’! – Needless to say I felt pretty chuffed as nothing gives me greater pleasure than being able to help and saving clients money!

Vicki & David’s Mt Soho Wedding

Another locally based couple, Vicki and David were more than able to plan their own wedding and in a lot of ways, they did. They simply needed some direction, a sounding board and someone to give them confidence with their own decisions. When Vicki first contacted me, I recall she was quite nervous about handing over one of the biggest days of her life to a complete stranger. We spoke at length on that first call, and then after the consultation at their Arrowtown home, she felt reassured that using my service was not going to eliminate any of her involvement or ideas. On the contrary, we worked as a team and during the process we became friends.

Amelia & Fraser’s Winehouse Wedding

Quite possibly one of the most workaholic couples I’ve ever met, it was pretty hard to pin these guys down! Which needless to say, was a huge catalyst for them contacting me in the first place.

We first met when they visited Otago where we had their consultation followed by a visit to several venues I thought may be of interest for their reception. Their first choice was mine too, The Wine House & Kitchen, which has since become my most frequently used venue of all my weddings.
