Deanna & Simon’s English Country Garden Wedding in Wanaka

My last wedding for the 2010 summer wedding season was possibly my biggest. An absolutely gorgeous couple, Deanna and Simon engaged my help around August 2009. They wanted a wedding at Rippon but were cautious about the work involved with it being a marquee.

My involvement was full for their wedding, from organising the stationary, which was designed and produced by the talented Kate Holland of Ruby & Willow, to the de-rig the day after and even organising he shipping of their wedding gifts to London.

Lanee & David’s Black & White Themed Wanaka Wedding

I met Lanee and David on Skype for their initial consultation, as they were based in Perth and had no immediate plans to visit the area. David had frequently holidayed in the area, hence they wanted to get married here too.

I presented several options for their wedding venue and they chose The Venue, which both Fredrik and I used to run. They organised their own stationary and set up a website to update guests with more information as and when , on travel, accommodation, gifts and the following day BBQ

Leanne & Craig Beautiful Vintage Wedding

This was by far one of my most favourite weddings to plan and also one of the loveliest couples I’d ever had the pleasure of working for. Although Leanne and Craig lived in Queenstown, like a lot of couples who engage my services they both had highly demanding jobs and they also travelled a lot for work, so planning their own wedding would have been extremely hard. Plus, whilst they knew what they did and didn’t want, they struggled to execute any decisions on their own.
