Amelia & Fraser’s Winehouse Wedding

Quite possibly one of the most workaholic couples I’ve ever met, it was pretty hard to pin these guys down! Which needless to say, was a huge catalyst for them contacting me in the first place.

We first met when they visited Otago where we had their consultation followed by a visit to several venues I thought may be of interest for their reception. Their first choice was mine too, The Wine House & Kitchen, which has since become my most frequently used venue of all my weddings.

Amelia and Fraser got married on the 29th March 2008 at St Paul’s Church in Arrowtown – another firm favourite of mine for its cute and vintage feel. Fraser’s own mother carried out the service, which was absolutely beautiful. Following the ceremony, guests were driven to The Wine House where they were greeted with drinks and canapés.

The bridal party meanwhile was driven by vintage jaguars for location photos with Larsson Photography by Lake Hayes before re-joining guests shortly after.

The food was amazing, which I can truly testify to as Amelia and Fraser insisted both Fredrik and I join them and their guests for the dinner! It took some persuading as ultimately I am there to do a job, but I must confess that both Fredrik and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience! – especially as I still hadn’t recovered from the wedding the week before and I had another coming up the following week, and the week after that!
